Hello everyone and welcome to Iron Beginner website. Fitness has always been a passion of mine ever since high school. My journey in fitness wasn’t always a smooth one so I want to share what I have learned with all of you.
Growing up my family didn’t have much money so I never had equipment at home. When I got old enough to work and get my own I had to do my research and find the best product for my limited budget. Over the years I have researched, purchased and used many products whether it be supplements, equipment or even books.
Throughout my journey I have noted the pros and cons and learned from my own mistakes. I am here to help you along your journey so you won’t make the same mistakes that I did.
A BIT ABOUT ME
Growing up I was never truly what you would call “fat”, but every year whenever I would go in for my annual check up with my primary physician I was always told I was “overweight”.
Well as a kid I never truly cared. I was never introduced to sports until I was in 6th grade and that was my first taste of fitness. I discovered my passion for weight lifting while I was in high school and I truly loved it.
After I graduated high school I kept up with my weight lifting for a couple years but eventually with work and school fitness got put on the back burner along with my passion for weight lifting.
For a couple years I was just completely focused on my work, going to the gym every now and then and developed some bad habits (alcohol yikes!). I put on a ton of weight and hit the highest weight I had ever been!
One day I fell ill and was hospitalized. My bad habits and decisions over the past couple years had landed me in the hospital.
It was unfortunate that had happened, but I took it as a learning experience and I never looked back. I fully dedicated myself to health and fitness, and with that my passion for weight lifting came back as well.
My fitness journey wasn’t perfect, and it was a hard one. I wanted to shared my story to everyone to maybe be able to reach some of those people that could be going through something similar to show that they would be able to get through it too.
THE GOAL OF YOUR SITE
Everyone has to start their fitness goals somewhere. My goal is to be the support at the beginning of your journey and during your journey. I understand the struggles of finding the best fitness information, especially with the internet growing every day.
I am here to help so you can spend less time looking for your information and more time working out.
Please have a look around and if you ever have anything that you would like to share in respect to fitness, I would love to hear it.
